Hoo Haa Windsor Hidden away upstairs at the Windsor end of Chapel Street, Hoo Haa is a modern Italian restaurant that's both contemporary and intimate. Modern wallpaper and trendy recycled timber are combined with dimly lit, secluded booths for more private dining, while the large courtyard offers an alfresco space for drinks and nibbles.

The menu favours simple and traditional Italian flavours, with thin-based pizzas, pastas and misti platters featuring bites such as egg-battered artichoke hearts stuffed with feta and served with roast capsicum relish. Tempting pizza toppings include chicken, pumpkin, pine nuts, basil mascarpone and olives; or summer tomatoes, basil, fior de latte and cracked pepper. For something more substantial, order the 'Hoo Haa superparma' - a parmesan-crumbed whole chicken breast with pancetta, napoletana sauce and mozzarella, served with woodfired chats and a summer salad.

The fine cuisine is accompanied by a full bar featuring distinctive Australian and carefully selected Italian wines, as well as boutique beer on tap. With food available until 2am on weekends, it's no surprise that Hoo Haa has gained popularity as a destination to dine at the end - or the start - of a big night. more
