PJO's Australian Restaurant Guide

These are (mostly) restaurants that I have personally visited and enjoyed, many on several occasions. They cover a range of locations in Australia, cuisines and price points. I can recommend all of them. I've also included a couple of restaurants that I have heard good things about which I will try when the opportunity arises.

1

Woodlands Family Restaurant
Liverpool

2

An excellent meal with the cheese selection matched with an Italian red the standout. The chestnut gnocchi disappointed though.

3

Grange Restaurant

A top quality, innovative restaurant run by the father of fusion cuisine.

4

Cape Cod

Simple seafood, reasonable prices, good service.

5

Charcoal Restaurant

A time warp -- menu, food and wine probably unchanged since the 70s (but sadly not the prices!).

6

Mezzalira Ristorante
