This UK-import noodle bar chain offers accessible snippets of the Orient without the risk of ending up with a plateful of jellied oxtail. It offers an easy-to-read menu, with accompanying images of the food to eliminate any confusion while ordering, while the food itself is politely spiced, rather than bombarding the diner with the full spectrum of flavours found in other, more authentic noodle joints. There's a small but decent wine list, plus an array of freshly squeezed juices, which certainly enhance Wagamama's mission statement of 'positive eating, positive living.'

Good ramen, not so good rice dish...
I went to this place with my family for dinner on a cold winter night. The service was prompt (as it was not that busy that day). I enjoyed my chilli beef ramen (soft tender meat and fresh herbs and chilli), however for some reason the chicken rice dish that my husband ordered was very small in proportion, too much sauce and too salty. I would go back but I don't think my husband will.
