You're usually drunk, you pick one up at the end of the night and you invariably regret it come morning. Such is Australia's relationship to the kebab. But this is the doner kebab, completely different from the seekh and tikka kebabs being served at Ultimo's newest casual diner.
At its simplest, a seekh kebab is grilled meat on a stick, but the food on offer at Skewerz is anything but simple. Boasting a subtle array of spices and marinades from Indian and Pakistani cuisine, these kebabs are a thing of beauty.

Finally the real Kebabs
Ever since I have been living in Sydney, I have been looking for the Indian/Pakistani Sheekh kebabs but all I was getting instead was Turkish Kebab rolls grrrr
This is the first place in Sydney to offer this fantastic cuisine from the sub-continent. As soon as you enter the place, the automatic Kebab station takes your attention and makes you eager to order food. The flavours were Authentic and the combination of sheikh kebabs and Bhajia (Pakora) took my memory back to the food streets of Lahore.
A place you must visit weather you are travelling to or living in Sydney.

Fresh, new and YUMMY!
Great fresh food - cooked infront of you and a great, fresh, tasty alternative to the tired kebab. really recommend it, especially the bhajia, I've never had them before - great alternative to chips - would go back just for these!

Have not tasted Kebabs and Tikkas this good anywhere else in Sydney. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it.
