This city eatery has reached legendary status for its simple, fast, awesome Chinese that has Melburnians from all over queuing up and crowding into the bustling space. Mealtimes are busy and hectic, but if you can't get a table to yourself, sharing is the norm and takeaway is available if it's all too much. Specialties include the spicy green beans with minced chicken on rice, and the crispy skin pork omelette, plus there's a pretty extensive vegetarian menu, the star of which is the eggplant with tofu and rice noodles.
