Sleekly fitted with red tiles and funky hanging lights, Riva is more suave than many of the local sandwich joints and offers a popular alternative for many CBD lunchers. The dark wooden furniture is closely packed into the space, creating a bustling hum during peak periods. The menu covers regular cafe fare, from ciabattas to pizzas, nachos and a Greek salad. There's a decent range of wines available for further lunchtime fortification, and when extra Dutch courage is needed to face the office again, Riva do a small range of cocktails and shooters.

super cool
its my fav place when i visit this great city , super firiendly service , great food , especially the french toast , but the coffe is THE BEST , never bitter and with a soft creamy texture to the milk , plus all the girls who work there are devine and so friendly , tucked in the causeway off burke street you get the street appleal with all the walk by traffic without the noisy cars , go for it , give it a try :)
