It's fair to say that Kew isn't exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to regional Chinese cuisine. Thankfully, this family-friendly diner has come along to change that.
The focus here is northern Chinese specialties, so expect plenty of pickled cabbage (suan cai) and wheat-based carbs like the omnipresent steam buns. It should come as no surprise, then, that the daily yum cha service at Rich Red Lantern is some of the best to be had in Kew.
