Rasa Malaysian Cafe

Blending Malay, Chinese, Nonya and Indian cuisines, Rasa's menu reflects the multifarious nature of Malaysian society and culture. The enormous range of dishes are cooked using traditional recipes and techniques, and the menu is helpfully marked with chillies so diners are not taken unawares by the authentic spices. The bright contrasting colours of the room create an appropriately casual and cheerful atmosphere to enjoy the equally bright flavours.

Wow....amazing flavours and food
Only recently discovered, this is a gem of a restaurant - and the owners have so much passion for food. We particularly LOVE the Spicy Calamari (out of this world), Sambal Eggplant and Char Koay Teow. The fresh flavours and flavour combinations are great. Love it when the chef comes out to "mingle"....

Rasa Malaysia has superb, friendly service, and exquisite, genuine Malaysian food to boot! Certainly the best laksa ever! I've been on a bit of a 'laksa quest' and Rasa Malaysia's Siam Laksa tops the lot! It was no problem for them to leave out the chicken, there's no cheaping out substituting cow's milk for coconut milk, fresh herbs, and tasty ingredients all round! The Achar pickles, Gado Gado, Tom Yum soup and Genmaicha tea were all just perfect. Totally underpriced.
