Claiming to be Melbourne's first pizza restaurant, this eatery serves more than just the good slice, including traditional pastas, risotti, meats and salads as part of its menu. Some of the more succulent dishes are the lamb shanks in red wine and tomato sauce served with rosemary mash; and the veal and fresh mushrooms in a creamy white wine sauce. Of course, traditional pizzas are popular, but gourmet options are also inching into the menu with such toppings as marinated baby octopus, calamari, lemon and Parmesan on a spinach and mozzarella base.
