Located in the relatively new QV centre, Meshiya has done a laudable job of making itself not look like what it is: a shopping-mall diner. The decor is minimalist but tasteful enough to convince patrons they aren't in a food court.
Similarly, the food hits well above the mall standard. Yakitori grills are tender and artfully presented, while the sushi and sashimi stick mainly to the Western-favourites playlist. The prices also manage to walk that fine line between budget-friendly and setting off alarm bells for fresh seafood.

This place ROCKS!
My girlfriend and I are regulars at this place because of their food. Tuna belly in butter sauce, sashimi salad, eel or spicy salmon maki and the squid are highly recommended. Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit.
