Max Brenner wants to change the world - using chocolate. The aroma of his passion drifts through the door, drawing unsuspecting passers by into his beautiful timber-trimmed cafe. Shelves heave under the weight of boxed truffles and bags of chocolate shavings. The house specialty is a Sukao, a small metal bowl sitting over a small flame. You mix chocolate shavings - choose white, milk or dark - with hot milk and wait for it to melt, then you suck it through the metal straw/spoon/ thingy provided... YUM!

One of my favourite places...
I've been to Max Brenner, both this one and the one down at The Glen, multiple times and have never been disappointed! I must admit that despite my regular visits, I have yet to sample anything except the Belgian waffles, with ice cream, strawberries and melted chocolate... however, the waffles are extremely hard to pass up!
The perfect place for a sweet tooth like me. And those hug mugs are pretty neat too, especially on a cold night out :)

Loved the new cold drinks. All about chocolates... great for dessert time or just a lazy afternoon tea.

Yum
Good stuff!!! Got some for my special someone and she loves it (she's conserving them as they're so good)! Pity there aren't any Brisbane stores...I'll have to make another visit sometime soon!

Chocolate heaven!
What's not to like about Max Brenner's? It's chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Can be extremely difficult to get a table but now there's more than one to choose from. Chocolate souffle is to die for!
