Wait staff wandering around?
Oh well, I totally disagree with your comment on wait staff dreaming. Yes.. no doubts... only a handful fo them are really capable... I've seen 2 girls on weekends that are wonderful.. from the minute I stepped into the restaurant they greeted me and smiled until I left... They make you feel you're at home back in Malaysia. And their smile you can see they are really happy to serve you.

And the food, it isn't that bad... I've tasted Belacan kangkong myself.. did you request for less salt?? Because I actually find it rather salty. Try their specials... ask the girls to introduce you.

Do not judge and conclude after one try.. always give them another chance.. try going on weekends instead.

Total Disappointment.
I ate here with a Malaysian friend, who was keen to eat some Nyonya food. We have nothing good to report about this restaurant.
It is in an old shop front with tired old decor and no atmosphere at all.
Service was slow and often non existent. Wait staff wandered round as if in a dream. Mostly you had to ask them for anything including menus.
The food was lifeless, lacking in flavour, and presentation left much to be desired.
The chicken satay sticks were probably the best food we had, nicely grilled with a good sauce. But the portion size was so small, half what you would get elsewhere. Similarly the Loh Bak was half the normal portion.
Chicken Kapitan was a few pices of chicken thigh in a vaguely curried sauce. Otak Otak prawns were also ordinary with low flavour. They looked like they had been prepared in advance, and heated up in a microwave.
THe big disappointment was Sambal KangKong, instead of having a salty taste from the prawn paste it actually finished sweet.
Given what we had did not leave us full the bill for the restaurant was not cheap.
