The target here is great food, not glamour, and Laksa King rarely misses. This unassuming eatery serves a menu of Malaysian favourites, but few people look beyond the laksa. This steaming bowl of liquid comfort comes in chicken, vegetable and seafood varieties, and has earned the restaurant frequent media accolades.

Laksa Fit For the Wallet of a Cheap King
Laksa King is a restaurant without pretensions or false bravado. Its specialty lies in its name - our group of 6 all tried variations on its laksa range - and were all very satisfied with the experience.
Service was efficient and food was served equally as quickly without fuss. However, expect a wait at the door as there's limited seats and it's such a popular place! Even on a Monday night we had to wait 30 minutes for a seat! But the wait was all worthwhile.
Not quite a hidden gem, as gems are objects of beauty, but a very enjoyable hidden restaurant none the less.
