This diverse dining spot, sitting snugly in its Artemis Lane hidey-hole, borrows from a range of Eastern and Western influences. Here, Asian inspiration meets European tradition in a stylish and ultra contemporary setting. Duck Duck Goose is divided up into two very different sections: the "dark side", and the "light side", with the latter comprising of a more casual bistro and yum cha dining experience. Which section you end up in very much depends on which entrance you take.
At the Artemis Lane entrance guests are greeted by a lounge and glamorous champagne bar, setting the scene for the slightly upmarket vibe of the "dark side", the fine-dining portion of the venture. Black marble table tops ooze contemporary opulence, while bamboo pendant lights illuminate a slick indoor water feature.
The menu here is essentially French cuisine with an oriental twist, featuring inspiring dishes such as the venison with coffee molasses sauce or lamb with truffle gnocchi. While there's very little goose to speak of, let's not forget the gorgeously prepared signature slow-cooked duck breast with sauce cassis, for which I'd like to think single-handedly inspired its quirky moniker.
