Only 2x2m in size, Cup of Truth is a hole-in-the-wall cafe perfect for great coffee on the go. Located in the busy subway underneath Flinders Street, it is an ideal spot for commuters to grab their morning pick-me-up. The owners, Courtney Patterson and Verity Govett, are long term baristas and coffee-lovers, who pride themselves on not only serving fast coffee, but gourmet coffee from a range of beans from around the world. They are particularly proud of their house blend, which they claim has a "slightly fruity front palate with a rich body and dark chocolate lingering aftertaste". Also, patrons can feel free to bring your reusable coffee cups, as the Cup of Truth focuses on an environmentally friendly takeaway coffee experience.
