Blues music is the backing track to the chatter of cooks and patrons alike in the open-air ambience at Chinta Blues. Chinta Blues' formula is great atmosphere, inexpensive and tasty food, young friendly staff and blues music. Lively chitchat fills the air while the steamy kitchen sends out flavoursome Malay, Thai, Chinese and Indian dishes. Laksas, nasi goreng, satay and beef rendang are big sellers. There are also some more extravagant dishes such as Assam fish with okra, tomato and pineapple.

home sweet home~
Atmosphere is indeed a bit noisy - but however when you first step into the restaurant, there was that familiarity of a Malaysian Restaurant that makes it feels very homely.
Food are a little overpriced - but I would think that's because where they are located. Otherwise, food was tasty, and not too salty, just rich for the palate. The menu serves a wide variety of Malaysian/ Asian food that rings a bell to most Malaysian out there.
Service was excellent with a touch of homeliness to it as well. Would love to go back there again. :)

Australianised Malaysian
Food was bland - lacked the necessary spices, curry and flavours. This restaurant is bland and geared to the average palate.

Home-cooked food in asia
A good place to sample pretty decent South-East Asian fare (but on a pricier scale). I come here for assam fish. There's a nice, casual atmosphere.
