Abit disappointed
I went with split the bill tokens so the price was alright but without the tokens, I wouldnt say that food is worth the money. We decided to try a western and asian dish which was some mixed grill/rib dish and lamb sizzling plate; the rib dish was alright but nothing that really stood out and as for the sizzling plate, it was somehow very buttery! Overall it was an alright experience but I don't think i'd be going back. Supposedly, the place is meant to be an asian fusion restaurant but I really don't think thats the case!

The buz and the ribs
My daughter-in-law's brother was visiting from Bangkok. How he coped with a wintery night in Melbourne I don't know but we decided to eat local and B&W is an old favourite. The Friday night crowd had the place buzzing when we arrived for a 6.30 dinner and nearly all the tables were full. There must be dozens of Melbourne restaurants who want to know how they do it. It is down to extensive menu offering with some signature dishes like bbq ribs, great prices and a friendly atmosphere. The service slips when the rush is on but this is not trying to be 5 star dining. I am sure the folks back in Bangkok will have heard about the meal he could not finish of ribs and chicken wings. Keep the formula going and you will keep locals like me coming back.

Bland in every way
Ok service, not overly friendly. Food was mediocre tasting, but servings were generous.

Thank God for Happy Hour!
Food is tasty although expect to wait during busy times such as lunch when the suits are out and about. I first ate here (ribs) back in 1997 and am delighted to say we're becoming quite 'regular' there on a Friday for after work drinks. As well as the Happy Hour prices, there is also complimentary snacks and fried rice to keep the hunger at bay and the drinks sitting nicely.

It was a dark and stormy night... "Food" we all said. But where on a Monday night in Sep? Hmmm memories of too many ribs n beer as we drove by. What the - give it a go. In b4 7 - happy hour - GOOD. Food served reasonably quick. The laksa ok and lots of it, the singapore noodles so so.. the decor - well it was the 80's.. It meet the need somewhere fast, not too expensive ... bonus is happy hour drinking [to moderation] if your in before 7!
